The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place created for click here intervention experiences a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of SRD all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
